Running in the Rain

Do you ever have those moments that you just want to bottle up and save forever? This was definitely one of them. One night after dinner, we had the most amazing summer rainstorm. John Parker wanted nothing more than to run it it, reach for the rain, and splash around in it. I loved watching the wonder in his eyes as we both laughed and ran around on the deck. We were drenched. I felt like a kid again remembering how fun it is to be carefree. I love that my kids keep me young.
