Family Heritage

I am very honored to be able to pass on the Ritsema family name to another generation. My father had only one brother who had all girls, so the name would have ended with me unless I had a boy. No pressure, right? :) Well, with the birth of John Parker, the Ritsema line continues on as well as the John Ritsema name.

Little John Parker is the fifth John Ritsema in a long line of John Ritsemas that came before him. Here is a photo of my great grandfather, grandfather and father as a baby.



This one shows my father, me, and my son, John Parker.



The ancestoral line proceeds as follows:

What an honor it is to be part of such a wonderful heritage.
